A country i´like to visit

Always I dream of travelling to Cuba, because it is a country with beautiful beaches and also has a great climate, all the time is warm and has tropical characteristic. I also would love to learn about the results of the Cuban revolution . This is a historical process to change the world politics. From a tourist point of view Cuba is the best place to learn to dance salsa, and know the afro dance. Their traditional drink is the mojito, this is a combination of sugar, rum, lemon juice and mint, its so fresh and you feel happy after you drink.Initially I like to know the country, for now that I liked the life style, the food, the traditions and the customs, in that case I love go to study a master in the La Habana University, because the education in Cuba is one of the best educations in the world.  I love work researching about the African gods, and the traditional religious practices

My semester

Have you a good semester
Really, I was having a good semester, but no anymore,  in the beginning I was very motivated with the university , but with the time I feel so tired and  stop coming also the university was on strike and we were classless two months after that was very difficult return to the university.
One of the best things that happened to me this semester was meet new people and travel to the south of Chile. But  not all it`s been good as a result of not attending classes,  I held many assessments together and this is so tiresome, also I broke with my boyfriend and I so sad for that.
About my achievement of my semester it’s a controversial thing, because I don’t have my results of the evaluations. But in my personal life, I went to live alone and for me that it’s a achievement. I love live alone, but sometimes I miss to my family especially to my mom and my little dog Julieta.
Respect to my subject this semester I have had some interesting but in general  all they liked, what I do not like them was the timetable, because some things  finished so late.
In conclusion this semester was very difficult for me, I have many changes in my life and is so heavy  when all the changes come together, but from another perspective I learned a lot, and today I am a better person thanks to the experience.

Thanks for reading.

the social science

Social sciences

Today exist s big discussion about whether social science is science,
the traditional scientist say that no, because we don’t use the scientific
method but this is a lay, because we use a research method very similar to de
scientific method, the principal difference is the study subject, the positivist
approach have as study subject the materials thing and the social science have as
study subjects the culture, the psychological things and de society. Depending on
the orientation of the researcher the method can be quantitative or qualitative.
I personally prefer the quantitative method this consist in a type of investigation
whereby the fieldwork is the report and the interview. Is a very difficult form of
acquiring information because sometimes the people tell you all his life and
sometimes it’s so sad and you need empathy and emotional intelligence

My favorite social science is the antropology because i love the etnography
and the cultural investigations. My favorite topic to investigate is the identity
specially the national identity.

A photograph i like

My favorite photograph was taken by my best friend, i wasn`t  looking at
the camera because i dont like the photograph.  In the photograph you can see a
beautiful  scenery with a river and rainforest also appear a great food  cooked
for me, noodles with sauce bolognese, You may think, that is a very common food,
but in the jungle is very difficult get meat for the sauce. Finally in
the photograph  its me.

The photograph was it taken  two years ago, in Villa tunari  Bolivia, and i like it because  it reminds me  my first travel with my bes t friend for Bolivia and Peru.  This Travel was wonderful ,  we knew  Macuh pichu and many beautiful places, but the  my favorite city in the world is Villa tunari because its hot, and wet and strong rains. For the Street you can see  palms  with coconuts also you can visit  the national reserve “La Hormiga”  when you can care  for animal like monkeys and crocodiles.

The food i hate!

The cochayuyo is a big sea weed,  its a very  common in the in traditional  food of  the  coastal village, its have many preparations  for example as  salad with onion and lemon  or in charquicán  this preparation consist in a mixture of potato and pumpkin, and onion, carrot, paprika chopping  sometimes the people cook the charquicán with meat,. In my opinión this
is very delicious but  with cochayuyo its terrible , because its has a weird texture,  i cant explain,  its similar to gum , its salad and the taste its as  drink  seawater.

I remeber when i was a child , with my mom visited to a her friend and she had to the lunch charquicán of cochayuyo I wanted to cry! And my mom forced my to eat i almost vomit.

Expectation for a new semester

This is my ninth semester in the Universidad de Chile, i have nine subjects, these are:
Oceanic ethnology ; qualitative methodology , quantitative methodology, Culture in Chile,  Heritage SEIA, economic anthropology,  SIG methodology and  English III. As you can see, I have a lot subjects, and for that I don’t have time for extracurricular subjects,
But the last year i practiced volleyball. This is my favorite sport and I miss it. In the secondary I used to  play volleyball three times a week.   When I am not in the university i work with my mom in the family business, we work contacting people for the big enterprises for the market studies. And in my  free time  i run with my  boyfriend and practice  Muay thai.
My expectations from this semester are so simple, i need to pass  all my subjects to begin the thesis and finish my college career.
